1. Who we are
Goodfellows Group is a trading name of Omnipay Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17101981).
Goodfellows Group acts as a broker. We introduce businesses to the products and services of third-party providers, such as Dojo for card payments and bookings, and other partners for business funding and business cards. We do not directly provide financial products or process payments ourselves. When you take out a product through us, the provider will also handle your information as a separate data controller under its own privacy policy.
Omnipay Solutions Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Registered office: 61 Welles Avenue, Leeds, LS26 9FE.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your information, email info@goodfellowsgroup.co.uk.
2. The information we collect
- Contact details such as your name, business name, email address and phone number, when you fill in our contact form, call or email us, or meet us in person.
- Business information needed to give you a quote, such as your current provider, card turnover, statements and the type of business you run.
- Referral details. If you refer someone to us, we collect your details and the contact details you give us for the business you're referring.
- Reward details needed to send referral rewards, such as where to send vouchers or cash payments.
- Website data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies where you allow them.
3. How we use your information
We only use your information where the law allows us to. We use it to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange demos and prepare quotes (to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interests in running our business);
- introduce you to, and help you apply with, our partners such as Dojo for card payments, bookings, funding and business cards (to perform our agreement with you, or for our legitimate interests);
- support you as a customer after setup (to perform our agreement with you);
- run our referral scheme and send rewards (to perform our agreement with you);
- send you updates and offers about our services, where the law allows. You can opt out at any time (consent or legitimate interests);
- keep accounting and tax records and meet our other legal duties (legal obligation).
4. If someone referred you to us
If we contact you because someone referred you, we got your business contact details from them. We'll tell you this when we first get in touch and use your details only to talk to you about our services. If you'd rather not hear from us, just say so and we won't contact you again.
5. Who we share your information with
We never sell your information. We only share it where we need to, with:
- Dojo and our other product partners, when you ask us to get a quote or set up a product with them. They will use your information under their own privacy policies;
- Netlify, which hosts our website and processes the messages you send through our contact form so they reach us by email, under its own data processing terms;
- other service providers who help us run our business, such as email, IT and accounting providers;
- professional advisers, such as our accountants and solicitors;
- regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where the law requires it.
Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved contract clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go further: up to 2 years from our last contact.
- Customer and referral records: for as long as you're a customer, then up to 6 years for legal, tax and accounting purposes.
- Marketing preferences: until you opt out, then we keep a record so we don't contact you again.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that's wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it, including for marketing;
- ask us to transfer information you've given us to another organisation;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email info@goodfellowsgroup.co.uk. There's normally no charge, and we'll reply within one month.
8. Cookies
Our website only uses cookies that are needed for it to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first. You can control cookies at any time through your browser settings.
9. Keeping your information safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as password-protected accounts, limited access and secure storage. Only people who need your information to do their job can see it.
10. Complaints about how we use your data
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first at complaints@goodfellowsgroup.co.uk and we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
